Rising hip-hop artist Mr. B.E.I. is quietly building an empire. Based in his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he is emerging onto the music scene with a sound all of his own. Known for blending R&B melodies with motivational rap lyrics, Mr. B.E.I.’s velvety vocals hit audiences at their core.
Mr. B.E.I.'s appreciation of music started in childhood when he fell in love with hip-hop. By his early teens, he knew he wanted to become an artist. He taught himself to write songs, studying the vocals and popular song lyrics in depth. Shortly after, he started writing his own words to the instrumental versions of his favorite songs. Then he figured out how to purchase beats online from producers and use them to write his own original music. Eventually, he moved into the studio to record, and by 2011, he was releasing his music as a debut artist. With each new project, he dug deeper into the business side of the industry, teaching himself about licensing, distribution, and the importance of consistency. In 2014, he dropped Life as a Hustler, a solo project that marked his early independent grind. Mr. B.E.I. continued to build momentum as an artist. In 2023, he released Destined for Fame, with top-quality production and collaborations that challenged him more creatively. His most recent singles, “Presidential” and “All the Time,” represent the full arc of his artistry, both in developing his craft and releasing a project the right way.
